James Keith “Jim” Jordan, 83, of Decatur died 8:12 p.m. Sunday August 21, 2016 at Eastview Terrace Nursing
Home in Sullivan, Illinois.
Graveside service with Military Rites by the Macon County Honor Guard will be 11:00 a.m. Friday August 26, 2016
at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Riverton, Illinois. Pastor Lyle Artman will officiate. There will be no
visitation. Memorials may be made to Westside Church of the Nazarene Decatur, Illinois. Tanzyus-Logan Funeral
Service and Care is in charge of the arrangements.
Jim was born in Decatur in December 1932 son of W. Keith and Mary E. Jordan. He graduated from St. Teresa High
School in Decatur, Illinois. Jim served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and received the National Defense
Service Ribbon. He married Bonnie in July of 1983 and she preceded him in death in September 2007.
Surviving are his step-children Theresa (Ken) Smith, Walter Spalding, Roger (Cheryl) Spalding , Karen (Eric)
Finger, five step-grandchildren, sister-in-law Irene Jordan and niece Tina Jordan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brothers Thomas F. and John A. Jordan.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Eastview Terrace and Harbor Light Hospice for the loving care given to Jim.
