Marlene Gladys Long, 56, of Bloomington, was pronounced dead on the scene of her residence at 11:08 am on
July 7th, 2016. She had a variety of health problems.
Cremation rights have been observed. A celebration of life service will be at Maranatha Assembly of God church,
Decatur, Illinois, on Monday, July 11th, 2016 at 2 pm. Tanzyus-Logan Funeral Service and Care is assisting the
family with the arrangements.
Ms Long was born in Feb. 1960, in Bloomington, The daughter of Donald Lee and Gladys Viola Keen. Both are
Ms. Long was married to David Wayne Long in March of 1981, in Bloomington. He is deceased.
Survivors include one daughter, Melissa Long (Rick) Thomas, Decatur; two sons, Christian White,
Radcliff, Kentucky; Matthew Long, Bloomington; one stepson, David Wayne Long Jr., Illinois; two stepdaughters,
Tara Long, Kentucky; Catrina Long, Georgia; two sisters, Donna (Bill) Blankenship, Branson, Missouri;
Rhonda (Walt) Wimberly, Mariam Woods, Missouri; four brothers, Gary (Chris) Keen, Branson, Missouri;
Gerry (Christie) Keen, West Layfayette, Indiana; Mike (Mary) Keen, Branson, Missouri; Terry Keen, Bloomington;
and nine Grandchildren, and seven step-grandchildren.
Marlene was very into God and loved to talk to others about Jesus and had a love for many people. She loved to
help as many people as she could and was loved by many. She will be greatly missed by all family and friends.
