James Russell Hoshauer, Sr. 65, of Decatur, died 11:56 A.M. Saturday, February 27, 2016 in Decatur Memorial
Memorial Services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday March 5, 2016 in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Visitation will be 1 hour before services in the Church. Burial will be at a later date in Mound Cemetery in
Oconee, IL. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to Jehovah’s Witnesses. Tanzyus Logan Funeral
Service and Care is assisting the family with these arrangements.
James was born in June of 1950 in Potomac, Illinois, the son of Frank and Viola Hoshauer. He graduated from
Rossville High School. He worked over 20 years as a hog farmer and over 20 years as an electrician, retiring
from Wachter Electricians. He served as an elder for the Jehovah’s Witnesses for over 37 years. He married
Pamela Case in November of 1970, and she survives.
Surviving are his wife Pamela of Decatur; daughter, Kristie Reynolds and husband Randy, son, James Hoshauer
and wife Alecia, mother, Viola Hoshauer, sister, Evelyn Clark, brother, Francis Hoshauer and wife Linda,
grandchildren, Vincent and Lucas Reynolds, Jessica and Jason Hoshauer, nieces and nephews, adopted family,
Chris, Pilar, Rylie, and Jordan Stenger.
He was preceded in death by his father Frank Hoshauer, sister, Willa Anderson and granddaughter, Karli
