Robert Glen “Bob” Matherly, 76 of Decatur died 9:30 pm. Saturday November 21, 2015 in St. Mary’s Hospital.
Graveside services celebrating Bob’s life will be 1:30 pm. Tuesday December 1, 2015 in the veterans section at Graceland Cemetery. Military Rites will be
conducted by the Macon County Honor Guard. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer Association. Tanzyus-Logan Funeral

Bob was born in September of 1939 in Decatur, IL., son of Flonnie A. Matherly. He graduated from Decatur High School and worked for United Parcel Service
for ten years. He then drove for twenty years for USF Holland. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Bob married Judy Anne Bradshaw in
December of 1962.
Surviving are his wife Judy Anne, sons, Barney “Will” and wife Gloria, Jerry Glen, Shelby and wife Kathy, Robert Lee and wife Teresa, Robert Stephen,
Bradley and wife Linda, Marshall and wife Brenda, daughter, Cindy and husband Chris Sevler, sister, Glenda Mae Hayes.
Preceded by his mother, Flonnie (Mier) Joines, step-father, Wayne Mier, brother, Billy Matherly, son, Daniel Paul Matherly.
Bob loved all of his family aunts, uncles, cousins, especially his grandmother Lillie Mae. He loved and looked out for his sister Glenda and took care of his
mother in her older years. He worked hard taking care of his wife and children, remodeling houses and building a log cabin in Ozark, MO.
His loving character will be truly missed.
