Bonnie Lee Schultz, 78, of Decatur, died at 11:04 a.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2015, in Carle Hospital, Urbana, IL.
Funeral Service celebrating her life will be 12:00 noon, Saturday, May 23, 2015, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 2727 N. Union, Decatur, with Pastor Russell
Weise officiating. Visitation will be 2 hours before service time at the church. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. John’s
Lutheran Church. Tanzyus-Logan Funeral Service and Care is in charge of the arrangements.
Bonnie was born in October of 1936, in Decatur, daughter of Walter (Tom) and Lela Hoffman. She graduated from Decatur High School. Bonnie married
Melvin Roy Schultz in September of 1956, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Decatur. He preceded her in death in February of 1982. Bonnie worked for
ARAMARK food service for 33 years.
Surviving her is son, Russell (Cheryl) Schultz of Decatur, daughter, Annette (Rick) Willms (Schultz) of Decatur, brother, Loyd Hoffman of Florida, three
grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, one sister and one grandchild.
