Betty E. Seibert-Langston, 85, of Decatur, formerly of Springfield, left this earth for her Heavenly home at 8:24 p.m. Sunday, January 18, 2015, at
Springfield Memorial Medical Center.
Private services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Living Faith Baptist Church Sherman, IL. Tanzyus-Logan Funeral Service and Care
is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Betty was born in Decatur in August of 1929, the daughter of Lloyd and Dorothy Johnson Benner. She was a graduate of Stephen Decatur High School and
Life Bible College. She was an ordained Minister and Teacher in Day Care for 13 years. She was a member of Living Faith Baptist Church of Sherman, IL.
Betty loved people and was a great cook.
Surviving are her daughter, Dorothy Davis-Beemen and husband Charles, of Springfield,IL; grandchildren: Lisa Wurth (Brett), Jon Davis (Alisha), Ronald
Hap Brown II, Ericka Brown and Blair Brown; 9 great grandchildren; Sister-in-law, Rev. Linda Benner; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Dorothy Benner; son, Ronald Brown; 3 husbands: Clifford Brown, Charles Seibert, Joe Langston; 3 sisters and 1
Betty was an outstanding mother and grandmother, who gave a solid foundation of faith to all of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed.
