Lynn Alan Wright, 66 of Decatur died Wednesday March 28, 2018 in Rock Island, Illinois.
Memorials service to celebrate Lynn’s life will be held 2:00 pm. Saturday April 14, 2018
at Northwest Christian Church with Pastor Steve Higgs officiating. The family will greet
friends one hour before at the church.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lynn’s
family C/O Northwest Christian Church. Tanzyus-Logan Funeral Service and Care is
assisting with the arrangements.
Lynn was born in Decatur in May of 1951, the son of Roy and Ida Wright. He graduated
Stephen Decatur High School (1970). Lynn worked for Wagner Castings for thirty years
and recently drove a truck for Dohrn Transfer. He was Past Noble Grand with Odd
Fellows and a member of Northwest Christian Church. Lynn married Sandra A. Wiggins in
July of 1989.
Surviving are his wife, Sandra of Decatur, daughters, Tina (Gene) of Foley, Missouri,
Tracey (Brian) of Niantic, Illinois, Tami of Decatur, sons, Tony (Christina) of Hammond,
Illinois, Matthew (Meghann) of Grand Ridge, Illinois, grandchildren, Justin, Ashley, Zoe,
Kohl, Laycie, Kyotee, Saige, Kaleb and Kaylee, great grandchildren, Jalynn, Jenna,
Karlee, Jordan, Weston and Carter, sister, Linda (Paul) Miner, several nieces and
nephews and his 1969 Chevy Truck “Hercules”.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Lynn enjoyed NASCAR and spending time with his family.
