Veleria P. Rine, 95, of Decatur, died Friday, October 27, 2017 in Fairhaven Christian

Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 30, 2017 at First Freewill
Baptist Church.  Visitation will be from 10-11A.M. Monday at the Church.  Burial will
follow in Mount Gilead Cemetery.  Memorial contributions would be appreciated to
First Freewill Baptist Church.  Tanzyus Logan Funeral Services and Care is in charge of
the arrangements.

Veleria was born in February of 1922 in Vandalia, Illinois, the daughter of Grover
Cleveland and Velma Johnson.  She had worked for G.W. Murphy Company in
Warrensburg.  She later was a childcare provider for some of her grandchildren and
nieces and nephews, due to her love for little children. At 4’10” and full of spunk she
was tiny and mighty.  She enjoyed bowling and was a member of First Freewill Baptist
Church. She married Stanley Rine in 1941 and he preceded her in death in 2001.

Surviving are her daughter Barbara Brozio and husband Fred of Decatur; son Ronald
Rine of Decatur; grandchildren Kelly Radamacher and Husband Rudy, Tracy Lowe
and husband Tommy, Kimberly Crum and husband Sonny, and Joseph Rine and wife
Francine; great-grandchildren Arika Force, Karmin Lowe, Aden Rademacher, Emma
Rademacher, Benjamin Rine, Kayley Rine and 8-great great grandchildren. She was
known as Aunt Sissy to her special nieces and nephews, Tawney, Lori, Kenda, Terry,
Donnie, Lloyd, Dennis, Mike, Richard, Larry, Kathy, and Vonna Lee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brother s and a sister. Please
